Alum Creek State Park

Central Ohio's premier outdoor recreation destination just north of Columbus. Alum Creek Lake (3,387 acres) is one of the state's best boating and sailing lakes. The park has Ohio's largest inland beach (3,000 feet of sandy shoreline). Mountain biking trails are considered among the best in the state, with the Alum Creek Trail system offering 20+ miles of singletrack. Bass fishing is excellent, particularly in spring and fall. Close proximity to Columbus makes it ideal for day trips.
